HW 52 - Third Third of the COTD Book

These directors (the people helping you plan your burials)  love to try and trick there customers into spending the most money  possible by feeding us lies. As well as making us feel bad about ourselves by telling us things like, "you will have to deal with  the fact that dirt and water would go into the casket and onto your loved ones if you dont buy the more expensive one."  However all hope isn't lost because there is an alternative graveyard were it gives a more natural burial and everything is as you planned.
This got me thinking about what funerals actually try to help you and if anyone in my family has ever gotten a director like that.
Qutotes:
"Bodies may be interred in shrouds or coffins made from common softwoods or cardboard, sometimes available from the woodland group."
"Staff at the woodland ground can help you make arrangements in advance or at time of need"
"Some woodland schemes us burial fees and the grave sites themselves in an effort to restore the grounds to ecological health."
analytical paragraph:
This was a very insightful book. I learned that there are a whole bunch of ways that one could are for the dead, as well as the different types of caskets there are and how much the price differs. This book compares to the book birth because in both books they talk about how the dominant powers like to trick there costumers/patients into doing what they want in order to benefit themselves. This book also compares to the omnivores dilemma because it tells you about the things that the dominant people dont necesarilly want you to know. Mainly because the more you know the more harder it becomes for the dominant people to do there jobs.
