Hw 4 - Your Families' Foodways

The foods i eat do in fact compare to the foods my parents eat. For example a typical dish that i eat is rice and beans with fried chicken, which is also what my parents eat. My family and I basically eat the same meals, this is because my mom makes the foods that I eat.  Another reason why my parents and  I eat the same meals is because we eat at the table together and eat what is on the table. The portion my parents eat can be compared to the amount of food i eat. This could be compared because everyone in my house hold only gets one plate of food.
The foods I eat compare to the foods my grandparents eat too because  what my mom cooks she has learned from her parents (my grandparents). So basically there isn't anything that my grandparents make that i haven't tried before. However the amounts of foods i eat compared to the amount of food my grandparents eat to differ. They differ because my grandparents only have half a plate and sometimes don't even finish that meanwhile I finish my whole plate.
The amount of food i eat does infact differ from the amount of food my family members eat. This is because not everyone in my family lives in the same building with me, so they dont eat the same foods as me or my parents. They eat soup more than anything else which is not a typical dish that my parents or I eat. However there are similarities to the food we eat because since we are all the same race my parents, me, and my other family members do eat Ecuadorian typical dishes such as rice and beans with chicken.  Another Similarity would be we all eat fish. Fish Is a very popular dish to eat in Ecuador because they serve it in every single restaurant in Ecuador.
